Option A is correct: Rhizobium is rod-shaped nitrogen-fixing bacteria live symbiotically within the roots of several leguminous plants such as alfalfa, sweet clover, sweet pea, lentils etc.

The amaranth plant is a grain and green crop plant, because it is not a pulse crop so do not nitrogen fixing mechanism. Spinach is a leaf plant, it consumes nitrogen, it doesn’t fix nitrogen. So #6 is wrong, Therefore by elimination the answer is A.
