Convention 138, also known as the Minimum Age Convention, sets the minimum age for admission to employment and regulates the employment of children to ensure their protection from exploitation.

Convention 182, known as the Worst Forms of Child Labour Convention, aims to eliminate the worst forms of child labour, including slavery, trafficking, forced labor, and hazardous work, and provides measures for their prevention and eradication.
